Introduction to JIIS

The Journal of Intelligence and Information Systems (JIIS, pISSN 2288-4866, eISSN 2288-4882), which commenced publication in January 1995, is a high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by KIISS (Korea Intelligent Information System Society). The goal of the JIIS is to share the most state-of-the-art research in the field of intelligent IT and its applications to business domain. In specific, JIIS covers all the topics including A.I.(artificial intelligence) techniques, business applications of intelligent IT as well as behavioral issues on the use of intelligent IT.

The official title of the journal is 'Journal of Intelligence and Information Systems' and the ISO abbreviated title is 'J Intell Inform Syst'. The JIIS is quarterly and publishes at the last day of March, June, September, and December each year. The URL of the Journal's Website is http://www.jiisonline.org, where full text is available. This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies Grant funded by the Korean Government.

Aims & Scope

JIIS endeavors to promote research on artificial intelligence and business. The journal aims to discover scientific and technological achievements by enhancing relevant research and journal readership.

JIIS focuses on research papers that utilize the real-world problem-solving paradigm with creative ideas and scientific methods.

JIIS seeks novel and original management techniques and the applications of information technology solutions that are designed to address research problems. Also, the journal focuses on papers that motivate advanced designs of existing and/or new technologies.

We solicit research papers addressing original ideas with new results on information technologies, systems, and their applications. The research should address issues concerning the theories, models, and implementation of intelligent information technologies and systems. To subscribe the JIIS, you need to join KIISS(Korea Intelligent Information Systems Society). The fee for the professional membership is KRW 500,000 (payment in lump sum) or KRW 50,000 per year, and the fee for the student membership is KRW 20,000 per year.
